Question: My veterenarian probably has never heard of yucca, but I would like conservative guesses as to dosage of this for a 66lb GSD and a 44lb mutt. They will both be getting it to reduce odors in feces and to stop copragia
  • A: I cannot speak for the safety and dosage of yucca root for your dog however I did find the information below for you online.  When yucca root is steeped into liquid or ground to a powder and added to Blackie’s food (just 1/4 teaspoon or so), it helps soothe tender joints, and—due to its substantial anti-inflammatory powers—alleviates pain associated with hip dysplasia and arthritis. It also eases digestive problems and can calm itchy skin caused by allergies.
