Nature's Way White Willow Bark Standarized extract is pulled from the inner bark of the tree commonly grown in Asia and Europe. It contains 15% Salicin, which is an effective fever and inflammation reducer.
White Willow Bark has been used for centuries to decrease pain, fever and inflammation. It is the original pain-reliever and was mimicked by the German company, Bayer, who mass produced a synthetic form of White Willow Bark and named it Aspirin. While effective, Aspirin has been shown to cause stomach irritation, ulcers, and bleeding. The major advantage of using White Willow Bark over Aspirin is that it is natural and gentle on the stomach.
