I tried this product over a few days when I was experiencing a lot of congestion. I had experienced a cold the previous week and had mostly gotten over it, but my congestion hadn't gone away. I started noticing an appreciable effect on my symptoms when I began using this product. It's temporary, but I noticed it was most effective in the morning and before I go to bed (when I'm least active and my symptoms are the worst). It's also quite tasty and hits the spot if you're desiring a hot, tea-like alternative for cold relief.
