PepZinGI® is a 1:1 molecular combination of L-Carnosine (ß-Alanyl-L-Histidine) and Zinc. PepZinGI® enhances stomach lining integrity, owing to its free-radical-quenching capability as well as its effects on growth factor and immunomodulating  activities.* The actions of PepZinGI® are based on the molecular combination of L-Carnosine and Zinc, which has an affinity to adhere to and coat gastric mucosa.* Because of their fast diffusion rates, non-molecular combinations (admixtures) of L-Carnosine and Zinc are far less effective.*
