A natural source of Phosphatidylcholine, Phosphatidylinositol and other Phospholipids.Rich in natural choline and inositol, lecithin is a lipotropic substance derived from soybeans. Country Life® uses the highest quality Soy Lecithin.
Lecithin is a nutrient that is essential for every body cell. It is a fatty substance found in foods like liver, eggs, chickpeas, lentils, soybeans, peanuts and wheat germ, plus it is manufactured by the body.
Lecithin breaks down into choline, that important unofficial B vitamin, and together they are necessary for building cell membranes, maintaining liver and gallbladder function and moving fats and nutrients from the bloodstream and into cells. Some research shows it may protect against cardiovascular disease, lower cholesterol levels and repair liver damage brought on by alcoholism.
Directions: Adults take two (2) tablespoons daily. May be taken with liquids or food. Keep cap tightly closed. As a reminder, discuss the supplements and medications that you take with your health care providers.
