In the second stage, Vitamin C is released gradually over a 12-hour period. This provides a safe build up of Vitamin C in the body, extending its protection over a 12-hour period. Super Bio C Buffered also contains Calcium Carbonate and Magnesium Oxide, which naturally reduce the acidity of Vitamin C.
