Olive Leaf Extract HealthForce Health Force Nutrition

Olive Leaf Extract II+ (100 caps) from HealthForce offers immune boosting support and protection from harmful microorganisms.

Ingredients & Description

The olive tree has been revered for eons as a sacred plant. There are many references to the olive tree throughout ancient literature; in the Bible upon returning to the ark of Noah, the dove brought unto him an olive branch. Greek Mythology tells us the olive tree was created by the goddess Athena to provide nourishment, cure illnesses, and treat infections.

Today Olive Leaf Extract is being studied for its health benefits. In Europe, Olive Leaf Extract is becoming more common, replacing synthetic antibiotics. It was found that when ingested, enzymes in the body react with OLE to form elolenic acid, a powerful acid which destroys harmful bacteria and strengthens the immune system. Olive Leaf Extract by HealthForce promotes overall body health and may prevent microorganisms from entering the body.

Questions and answers:

    Asked on: May 6, 2013
Question: What does cold pressed mean? And what makes it better?
    • 0 0 A: It is oil that is obtained through pressing and grinding fruit or seeds with the use of heavy granite millstones or modern stainless steel presses, which are found in large commercial operations. Although pressing and grinding produces heat through friction, the temperature must not rise above 120°F (49°C) for any oil to be counted as cold pressed. Cold pressed oils are produced at even lower temperatures. Cold pressed oils retain all of their flavor, aroma, and nutritional content.  Vote down - Vote up
