One of the weapons in the KidsLac probiotic arsenal is the DDS-1 strain of Lactobacillus acidophilus, considered to be one of the most studied, proven, and reliable strains of probiotics in the world. Discovered in the late 1950s, the DDS-1 strain of L. acidophilus stimulates the immune system, produces ÃÂBÃÂ vitamins and folic acid, reduces lactose intolerance, initiates the colonization of ÃÂgoodÃÂ bacteria, and helps to control pH levels, among other benefits.

KidsLac also contains four other potent strains of friendly bacteria. Bifidobacterium bifidum is associated with a decrease in allergies, effectiveness in maintaining intestinal flora, and numerous benefits in helping with digestion. Bifidobacterium infantis, the main bacteria found in breast-fed infants, may reduce the effects of occasional diarrhea. Bifidobacterium lactis supports the immune system, and prevents pro-carcinogens. Bifidobacterium longum helps to metabolize a wider range of carbohydrates, blocks the growth of harmful bacteria, and boosts the immune system.

Suggested use:

Children take one packet a day. Mix packet with cool food or beverage or empty contents directly into mouth. If additional support is desired, you may build gradually to a higher number of packets taken at regular intervals throughout the day. Amount needed may vary from person to person. Packets may be taken any time of day, with or without meals.
