Glutamic acid is an amino acid which benefits brain function. Glutamic acid's chemical structure enables it to scavenge excess ammonia and reassimilate it into the beneficial component Glutamine, therefore promoting healthy brain function. Glutamic acid may prove most beneficial for people seeking to improve memory and enhance cognition.Glutamic acid's conversion to Glutamine is believed to boost natural levels of HGH, or Human Growth Hormone. The Glutamic Acid with Pepsin works wonderful for me.
I was having gallbladder pain and digestion issues.
After reading a book about the symptoms I was experiencing
I asked my alternative med. doctor if I could have issues
with low stomach acid. Betaine HCL did not work for me
so he suggested Glutamic Acid. It has made the difference for me between
pain and no pain. (i also avoid eggs)

I take it once a day before bedtime. Ever since I started taking it I feel more optimistic and energetic and in a way better mood.
