Feverfew Standardized is derived from the Feverfew plant, which is grown commonly all over North America. It has been found to be effective in helping to reduce fevers. It also has been used to help treat some digestive problems. Feverfew is most commonly used in the reduction of headaches. Feverfew inhibits the release of prostaglandins and seratonin, which can cause migraines. Feverfew also decreases the inflammation of blood vessels in the head. Feverfew can be very effective in helping to treat migraine headaches over an extended period of time.
