Nature's Way Fenugreek Seed

Nature's Way Fenugreek Seed has been used historically as a culinary spice and food soothing to the stomach..

Ingredients & Description

Fenugreek seeds contain vitamins A, B1, and C. In addition to these nutrients, Fenugreek Seed also supplies the body with fiber, protein, and flavonoids. Traditionally used as a culinary spice in foods, Fenugreek is thought to help sooth the stomach.

The high fiber content in Fenugreek Seed may help regulate glucose metabolism in the gastrointestinal tract. People with type two diabetes may find Fenugreek Seed beneficial for normalizing high blood sugar levels. The chemical structure of the saponins found in the seeds of Fenugreek are amazingly similar to that of steroidal hormones and estrogen. Therefore it is thought that Fenugreek Seed may help balance hormonal levels in women. Fenugreek may also be used as a laxative, alleviating complaints of constipation.
