Seacoast Natural Foods Elemental L-Ornithine 500mg (100 tabs) is a specially designed product that is used to help recover from Liver Cirrhosis. Ornithine is an amino acid that is not coded for by DNA. Therefore it is not involved in protein synthesis. However, it is one of the products of action of the enzyme arginase on L-arginine, which creates urea. The urea cycle is what allows for the disposal of exess nitrogen.

It has been suggested by some sports nutrition experts that large amounts of Ornithine supplementation raises growth hormone levels, without increasing levels of insulin.

  • Helps Liver Cirrohsis Recovery
  • May Inrease levels of Growth Hormone
