Since ancient times, black elderberry juice extract has been used as a homeopathic remedy for flu, colds, coughs and respiratory infections. It is wonderfully effective in immune-boosting and prevention. It is the only elderberry extract that contains a unique anti-viral compound called Anti-Viren, as well as antioxidant flavonoids, which enhance the immune system by blocking the mechanism by which viruses penetrate the host cells. It has been involved in many favorable clinical studies; data showing that it cuts complete recovery time in half, reduces symptoms, and works in nearly 90% of all cases. It is a very safe product, and in it's liquid form, quite easy to ensure effective cold and flu prevention. It has no contraindications with any known products or medications, and although all research has been extremely positive, it has not yet been evaluated by the FDA.
Among the things noted in the literature concerning the fruit of the elder tree are the identification of its high albumin content, its richness in vitamins B1, B2, B6, calcium, phosphorus, and certain bioflavonoids in high concentrations.
Unfortunetly, vitamin water's name is dneicvieg since it contains hardly any vitamins. It basically is just sugar water, but if you like it, it'll cause no harm. It is yummy.Since you're healthy, you probably don't need any added vitamins. If you eat a balanced diet containing enough fruits, veggies, meat, dairy, and grains you're probably getting in all your vitamins. You can ask your doctor if you have any doubts.
Since I've been giving my 2 kids the black elderberry juice they have not had any secondary infections, like ear or sinus infections. So no need for doctor's visits or antibiotics. They have had colds but they havn't turned into anything that I needed to go to the doctor for. I love the product!
