BosMed 500 provides 500 mg of BosPure boswellia, a clinically-researched form used in studies around the world. BosPure® is a high-AKBA (acetyl-11-keto-?-boswellic acid) form. Its different from other boswellia extracts, which typically have less of this beneficial compound. It is also purified to screen out ?-boswellic acid to less than 5%, as this compound can promote inflammation.

Boswellia (Boswellia serrata) is well-known for its ability to support healthy inflammation response throughout the body.* This is because boswellia helps balance 5-LOX, (5-lipoxygenase) an enzyme that can otherwise encourage inflammation-creating leukotrienes.

In a double-blind, placebo-controlled, 6-week clinical study, boswellia was tested in 40 individuals with asthma ranging from 18 to 75 years old and a mix of 23 men and 17 women. At the end of the study, 70% showed marked improvement!
